On January 17th, 1995, at 5:46:52 AM,  
electricity, phones, gas, water, transportation — everything stopped at once.  
The Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake shattered the illusion that “everyday life is guaranteed.”

Thirty years have passed since then.  
The architecture of Personal Energy® — Autonomous, Distributed, Asynchronous —  
was not an invention but an *inevitable consequence* born from that event.

In January 2011, shortly after announcing the first Personal Energy® system,  
Japan faced the Great East Japan Earthquake and one of the world’s largest nuclear disasters.

These experiences carved into us one truth:

**No infrastructure should ever be prioritized above human life.**
